Any difference in doors from a 91 LX and a 86 Capri? Are the hinges different or can I swap these right on with no issues? I'm just worried about fitment, not wiring or door panels. Any input?

They are all the same from '81-'93 Mustang and Capri. The '79 and '80 will bolt on but the interior door handle and lock are located differently.

I have 1984 Mustang doors on my 1986 Capri. As stated above, most of the doors are 100% interchangeable. 1991 doors have the same exterior sheet metal profile. The dew wipes, bump mouldings, and mirrors are different. You can change the bump mouldings and mirrors over easily. The dew wipes will require MIG welding the little holes shut I think. The interior panels mount differently on the 87+ cars. I don't know if the sheet metal is different or not, I wouldn't imagine it is. Again, as stated above, the hinges are the same and should fit well. If any shims fall out from behind any of the hinges, be sure to save them because you may need them for the 91 doors.
