Does somebody has a pic of the two twist-things that are supposed to hold the shade on its rear ? Mine are missing, but i'd like to have an idea what they look like so to search the junkyards on various euro Fords or build my own if possible.

I'm sure you know this... but that gromit is not complete... there are pieces broken off.
DeanT is the only other person that I know that has these tabs and gromits. I gave him all my parts after my Futura was hit. Maybe he can snap a pict of the tabs you need.

Thanks Caprisvo. now i know what to look for :)
I've read somewhere in FEP that i might find this on a '86 Escort. They aren't anymore popular in junkyards, but with some luck ...
Hopefully, my grommets are still intact. If i don't find anything matching, some velcro or magnets might do the job.

I have the grommets that press into the roof. As for the turnstyle knobs, I don't have the original units. What I used are the turnstyle knobs from an '86 Escort rear hatch cover. They are spring loaded and fit great. I know that it's not "original" but nobody knows the difference and they fit great. Good luck!

Nuts. I saw this and it's dark out - not a good idea to go stumbling around in the dark looking for the scrap metal that has the sun roof bushings on it. Which reminds me, I still need to grab them before I chuck all the scrap metal.
If I can retreive them in one piece, I'll take a pic.

Okay, here's a sun shield plastic grommet with the tabs intact:

Man I have been lookin all over for one of those shades. I dont have to have the stock mounting pins. I can custom my own but I do need the plastic shade itslef. Anyone here have a spare? I thought I had a deal set but the guy I was buyin it from looked and looked through his garage and could find it. Sucked. Cuz my head gets scaulded here in FL with the damn sunroof. Im gettin to the point of using cardboard! Ghetto but better than spraypaint like I almost did earlier. lol any clues.? Thanks
