I was just wondering if anyone makes a bolt-in rollbar for Mustang 'verts that is easily removable and will make your car legal for the strip. I can't stand the way they look, but you need one if your 'vert runs better than 13.99s.

Bolt-in isn't legal. Gotta weld 'em and weld 'em good.

Actually, you can bolt them in as long as you have a 6 x 6 plate sandwhiching the floorpan.

Pricy for sure.... But the best fit, finish, & quality without having a shop custom bend a unit just for you......

NHRA rules changed, partly because factory cars like 03/04 cobras were running hi 12's, low 13's off the factory, and they don't come from the factory with roll bars.

I believe the new nhra law is 11's for a vert, but you'll have to check up on that by reading the guidlines. In fact, just search google under convertible and nhra, and I'll be you'll find it.

That won't be a blanket rule but rather an exception for stock vehicles...

I think if I was racing a 'vert, i would want that roll bar arc welded in  wouldn't want that thing to break....

Yes I know, MIG'ing would be way better for the application... shhh
