Just like the title says, post your dyno sheets and timeslips (both 1/8 or 1/4 mile). I'll go first.

Dyno sheet:

Timeslips: These were updated on 10/8/05. You'll notice that I began the day with a 12.64, then went 12.52 then finally a 12.42. I was getting better with each run. I wish the day didn't have to come to an end! All three of these runs bested my previous 12.71.

You guys need one of them thar 4-banger turbos....i hear that Gator fella slapped down 321HP and 349TQ on the dyno, and whopped on the 1320 with a 12.70.

....and that car was built for open-tracking over 5 years ago.

Its just when people see the car they assume it runs 11's or something crazy. When I tell them its only a high 13 sec car on street tires they assume I'm a weirdo for not doing the engine first. Mainly its just from kids with a lot of help from mom & dad with their 03 Cobra's or STI's.

Agreed....

Odd's are 90% of those whom choose to bash your car for "only" running 13's don't have a fast car or never had to work hard for what they have.

Hey Zap, I'm into fast cars but I'm into show cars even more. I would rather have a magazine quality show car that runs 13's or 12's than have a piece of s*** that runs 12's, 11's, or 10's. A lot of kids are immature and don't know what it takes to have a nice car. Your new engine will establish your car as a legend. It already looks like one. ;)

Sorry! As you should surely know, I wasn't referring to you. ;) Your car kicks major a**!

I was referring to those ignorant people who love to make comments about your own car and then you go look at their's and they're trashed. I get that sometimes too (people who can't believe that I've got "only" a high 12 second car, especially because I have two carburetors.) If you listen to them, a low-rise dual quad intake with two carbs will make "tons" more horsepower than a single carb and intake. I even get idiots who think that I should have 400 horsepower at the wheels.

Last summer (at a Mustang Club of America show) I had some clown trying to tell me that my car was "radically" modified and I should have been in the "Radically modified class" instead of the "Mildly modified class."

His 540 horsepower, Procharger equipped/mini-tubbed, aluminum interior Mustang coupe couldn't compete against anything else so he was placed in the Radically Modified class. His was the only car in his class and because of this, he took first place.

He was crying because I won a best of show trophy vs. his first place trophy. I guess that he was upset that he competed against himself, while I competed against all Mustangs between '74-'93 and took home the "Best of Show." Ignorant people aggrevate me!

"He was crying"
"Ignorant people aggrevate me!"

Get used to it; especially if you go to shows or the drag strip. I agree that it is extremely aggrivating.... Everyone has thier opinion of what's right, what's not, how you shoulda done it, what you should have done first, yadda yadda yadda....

My car looks like a pile of steaming dog doo, I know it, & I don't really care if anybody likes it or not. Speed\performance was the most important thing to me; followed closely by reliability & braking capability. i'll finally get to work on the "appearance" issue last. Why? I simply didn't want to risk damaging the "fresh" body & paint doing all of the conversion work....

lol, no apology needed! I was just joking... my car is in dire need of some paint. In fact, when my dad and I went and looked at the car way back in 1987, he said "well it could use some paint, but we can do that after you get out of school..." Fast forward 18 years and it still wears the same OEM paint. Every year I say "I'll paint it next year..." Every next year I find something else (read: performance parts) to spend my money on

I can't deal with the "show car" mentality. I built my car the way I wanted it. If I'm happy with it, that's all that counts. :D

Oh I totally agree 100% with you guys.

The one thing that boils my blood is a rich, s**t talking kid with a fast car that he never turned a wrench on. You just want to race him and give him a big piece of humble pie, but..........you cant. http://racingsouthwest.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/banghead.gif

Here is my best run a few years ago before the car was tuned. I am car 510

http://memimage.cardomain.net/member_images/11/web/419000-419999/419988_6_full.jpg

This is my dyno sheet from last fall. We stoped tuning the car because we were afraid for the factory block. With a new Iron Eagle block and new ported Holley Systemax II intake I hope to have 550+rwhp on pump gas.

The Blue lines were from my first pass untuned. The red lines are the last pass.
