I went to the S.T.Motorsport's dyno day here in San bernardino,Ca. last Saturday. I was the last person on the dyno. I wanted to experiment; but I forgot to bring my K&N conical 9" as well as remove the serp. belt to see how much power the accessory's rob. Of note: All three runs were back to back; one immediately after the other without any cool down to see the effect's of heat soak..... Seems with my car it don't matter much.... 8)

Thanks guys. The "budget beater" moniker might have to go away when the turbo finally get's installed tho...:lol:

I'm pretty happy with it. I need to focus on the paint job, a little bit more on the interior renovation, & stop working on the performance aspects for a little while.... I do not know for how long I can hold off the "need for speed urges" tho.....;)

It's only a matter of time. Adam is quite busy getting his buisness up & running. Once he's all set & has some time this summer; the T66 will find it's way into ma 'lil toy.....

Nice. So you're getting a turbo too? My buddy (the heavy set guy ) that was at the dyno day wants one of Adam's turbo kits for his notch. He just has to come up with the $$$.

Nice numbers! By the looks of your 1/4 mile times vs. your horsepower/torque levels, it seems like you're dialed in perfectly. I'd love to have those 12.1 second quarter mile times. ;)

Thank you :oops: I'm happy with my combo even though it would probably perform much better with a smaller intake & revised cam spec's. I still have some more tricks up my sleeves even if for some reason the turbo deal goes sour. I figure I'm just a lighter battery, alum rad, manual steering, etc. away from an 11 second time slip this fall without making any more horses what so ever.... :twisted:

P.S. I just weighed my notch....2,850lbs without me in it & w\half tank of petro.....

Honestly? It does work extremely well with the DC contoller hooked up to it. Temps never go beyond 3\8-7\16 of the factory gauge(no where near "half way"). It's so steady; it's almost unnerving. But, it's what the controller is supposed to do.... It varies fan speed through the amount of voltage the controller applies to the fan & basically keeps the temps steady at whatever temp you prefer! The true test of the DC controller will be this summer; driving to Palmdale in 105+ temps for hours, in stop & go traffic, & up 7-15 degree grades for miles.....;)

Aye your car is 50 pounds less than mine. Nice numbers, they stay very close. Yu cold almost hot lap your car. Yo mentioned your intake and you mentioned a turbo, the intake will work well with a turbo. better lose some compression though you have too much for a turbo. Unless you are going to use very low boost. And I know you, you never go small.

Hey! Not true.... I go "small" in.... in....errrrr.....well.... when I shop for clothing; I go to Walmart!

See? I can go small.....;)

Yes, I'm really close to 10-1 compression & the amount of boost will be adjusted accordingly. I figure only 3-5 on the street & maybe 6 at the track. Fortunately now that i have access to a dyno, wideband O2, & chip burning; I can have it pretty much "dialed in" before it's first voyage out onto the street or track... I'll have a boost controller of some type, fmu, btm, etc to make certain there will be no issues whatsoever. 'Cause it still will be my daily commuter even with a turbo.....Or nitrious.....or both....;)

Not if you don't build another motor to handle the shot! 8)

{I know your current motor won't take the abuse of a 150 shot, let alone a 200 "hit"!}

I thought I had mentioned before I was going to build a new motor? if not then i am now. i am goign to build a new motor to handle the shot.
