I've been searching for a car like this for a LONG time. 1986 LX 5.0 5-speed Notchback. Excellent body, original paint, clean interior. I LOVE THIS CAR!

thanks :)
it has 204k miles on it, but the interior is surprisingly clean for that mileage. I got a great deal on it too.... $1400.

good ****. look very clean!!! with 204k on it someone probly commuted in it a little. sounds like a deal. but, i'll bet u $5 that the car is "test only" when u go to smog it next time. if u have test only in corona. up here about 50 miles south of sac 50% of all cars are "test only" and thats pretty much ALL older cars.

A lil off topic, but how did you get such good pics with no flash, low light, and long exposure? I'd guess a tri-pod, but it's so low.
I love taking pics like this but they turn out blurry as hell.

They sell mini-tripods too.
I've got a few pics like that, but not that clear yet. Gotta work on the other ways.

i set the camera up on my mini-tripod and used 15 second exposures. It was almost pitch black when i took these. In the 1st pic, a car drove by while I was taking the pic, so thats why the streaks of light are there. It gives the pic a cool effect though :)
btw: I was staring at your car for like 5 minutes at FFF. I was surprised that I only saw your LTD, the LTD Wagon next to it, and 1 fairmont. I expected more! Awesome car though.

Wow - great score, esp. for a coupe! 8O

I agree the pics are nice. A little cropping wouldn't be out of line, though... okay, a lot of cropping. ;)

Ah that's what I thought. I should invest in a tripod. The orange from the street lights in SoCal give a cool effect to night pics.
Thanks for the compliment on my car! I've been bringing my car for the last 5 or 6 years and usually we have about 5 or 6 LTDs. But this year was a low turnout since one of the main LTD guys from LA decided to go to the NHRA races in Vegas instead.

nick, guess I missed you at fff :( that is really, really awesome, welcome to the dark side, at last. it's gonna be really cool to see you in a four eyed notch, as none of us have a four eyed notch in the immediate group.
so what color interior? what are your plans? aod or 5 speed?

thanks man
i uploaded pics of the interior into my album. Its really clean blue, 5-speed.
My plans are to build a mild motor on the side while i'm driving it, and gather up some 5-lug parts and some nice OEM 5-lug wheels (whatever i can find for relatively cheap)
