Tranny?

I was cleaning out the basement where my dad has a million parts and I found an old tranny. I have no idea what it came from or what. I have the casting; it is as follows: C5AR-7006-D . . . Next Line: W-1 M16. There is also another casting above the input shaft that reads: RF C5AR 7050 C. Now I now this is a toploader, and I found a link to a question asked about the same tranny. He said it was in his 68 Stang w/ a 302, but he didnt think it was orginal. Any help would be aprreciated as I am selling all these parts for money for the 86.

Try here to I.D. it. The tag you're looking for to ID the trans is on the passengers side.

C5 in your number would mean its a 1965 trans, but what it came out of or what it exactly is, I cant help ya there. But I can tell ya that MOST toploaders that came out of a Mustang would start RUG in the number.
