The problem with that is twofold (or morefold...). First, what's your definition of "active?" Posts/visits daily? Weekly? Monthly? Has x number of posts per week/month/year? Also, the only numbers we can easily determine are those who have more than 0 posts, more than 1 post, etc. But, to see how long they've been a member, how many posts they have and all that would be a member-by-member research job.

Every few months or so, I delete accounts that are 6 months to a year old and do not have any posts.

I would consider anyone with more than 500 post's or at least 5-10 post's a month as a "active" member.

Is there anyway to get it where threads that a memeber post in is marked? Like they do Stangnet, Corral etc.... I.E.,,bullet or arrow in the thread header..

Or would the forum have to change in order to do that??

as a site owner myself, I check out who's online a lot and last activity. You would be amaized how many lurkers there are that never post but log on daily
