The dangers of driving a convertible

Ok so it was a wonderful day yesterday, sunny, 70+ degrees, I had a 4-hour drive back to school and the vert was running great so I put the top down. 5 Hours later (I took some backroads detours) I am sooooooo sunburned lol. I usually don't burn at all but I guess first exposure of the season, my forehead and nose are blistered and it burns like a *explicative*.

Oh but I love open-top motoring..... It was worth it, open road, wind in my face, 5.0 just a purring, I just need to remember to wear a hat :lol: .

And sunblock - the blacktop reflects the light and heat more than you'd realize. I used to think the same in my 83 convertible. A tight hat and SPF 45 should do ya good :D
