Hello all those wondering and waiting to see if I ever was going to finish Project Echo Seven.
Well for a refresher for those who have not read the prior threads here are the links to them.

Project Echo Seven Part 2 http://www.foureyedpride.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=69924#69924
Ok after those who have never read these threads and those who have and reread them I am going on in this thread. I will try and get some more pics up in the next few days. If anyone replies to anything from the prior threads in this thread please make it easy on me and link, copy, quote whatever.
So, I have completed the exhaust ports and bowls. I had previously started working on the intake ports but the sad part was there was so much time inbetween what I had done and where I started again I needed to finish all the exhaust ports and start over on the intake ports.
If I don't hit water I intend to use these heads. This would be a good time to tell that I did cut into a pushrod tube. I should have known I was getting close but it was opening up so well.
Here is a tip that you might like to know incase you get close to a break through. Sometimes the carbides "jump" while grinding/cutting. This is normal. Near as I can figure it is basically when you go against the grain of the bit. Well I have yet to see the iron look as if it has a burn mark in it or a hot spot. If you see something like a hot spot in the metal and believe me it is obvious, then you are close to breaking through.
Anyway, IF you are porting your intakes AND you break through into the push rod tubes you have it big enough  :? . Do not try this near the water jacket :!: Well the fix for this problem really isn't bad. I have 2 choices, epoxy, or choice 2, slide in 1/2" copper tubing and cut it off and seal it. I am planning on going that route.
PICS SOON.
Thanks Capri
