Had fun at the local p&ps today...went to three of them. One was a wasted trip...funny thing, two years ago, that place was FILLED with capris of all years...

The first yard rewarded me with a set of chrome headlight bezels (just for fun), a decent condition hatch rubber seal, and a 79 driverside capri taillight...unfortunately, I forgot I had a driver side already at home so now I have two spares for the drive and none for the passenger side.

The third yard was where I hoped to get the wiring harness that I forgot to pull from a Tbird coupe...darn people - they pulled the whole front end of that car off...I mean it was 6 months ago but still. At least I got the marchals off of it the last time I went.

I also found a minty condition battery tray from a late model capri...FINALLY I can bolt down my battery on a nice factory tray.

Other wise, it was kind of slim pickins these days...saw a couple of late model foureyed front ends that made me wish my car had that look. I forget if they were GTs as I was reading the post about the price these fascias will bring on ebay...

I also had no luck finding any other ford type cars (old fairmonts for their dashboards, Escorts for their seats and fog lamps, TBird SC's for their foglights, etc....) I did see two very nice condition capri grill pieces...and the most awesome yellowyorange 79 capri 4 cylinder - wild to see a hatch without a spolier on it and no defrost either and no wiper...funny.

Guess you guys have better pickings in southern cal?

Nah, we didn't do too much better.

What I did buy...
1)three Marshal's
2)Front & rear aluminum front bumper's.

What I didn't but should have....
1)84GT front fascia
2)85GT front fascia
3)A9S & another computer for '88-93 mass air mustangs

Honestly now that i think about it; it was a pretty good day for the "pick'ins"...;)
