Here is the interior last year:

And here is how it stands now:

I redid the guages, in an attemot to return the interior back to (somewhat) stock

And started to recolor the interior black:

And again my car sits engineless and interiorless :(

I still have to recolor the rest of the panels i nthe car. I got sidetracked with home improvements the last few weekends. But since the interior is out for the cage upgrade. IM happy I decided not to update the interior. I switched to a cheetah style shifter and I am putting the centerconsole back in the car molded around that shifter. I will post some pics of that this week.

Looking good! Keep up the good work. ;)

I remember when mine looked just like that. I kept thinking to myself, "This thing will never go back together and if it does, it'll be so far away that I won't remember where everything goes." I'm glad that I remained focused and was able to finish my dream. Good luck!

YOU'VE BEEN THROUGH MY OLD THREADS HAVEN't YOU!? lol.

I'm almost done mine now. The door panels are the easy part if it helps at all. The quarter panels are kind of a pain to get clean, but thats about it. Once you get the dash back in, it's all down hill from there. The stuff looks great!!

What material did you make your gauge mount for? I need to make one like that for my car where the ashtray used to be.

I just finished doing the exact same thing it almost looks like you walked into my shop and took pics of what i did and then left. the dash takes forever to get back in right although from start to finish including rebuilding the wiring harness it only took 3 days of work. do you go for the clear coat stuff to protect the dye and make it look glossier.

I got the plastic from a plastic store by my house, I bought a 12x12 sheet.

I personally am not going to clear coat anyhting. Im trying to stay with the original look in the car, even though it is a race car.

Thanks again everyone for the compliments. Nice to have a site out there just for the older mustangs.
