The hood looks to be in real good condition. I am afraid to wonder what happened to the rest of the car.

I think I might buy this hood if the bidding stays low.
It's only 25 miles from me, and I already have a front upper bumper cover I pulled from a Pace Car I found in the wrecking yard a couple of years ago.
One day I may come across a Pace Car with front end damage. If I do I'd be set!
Mixed feelings here. On one hand I may be helping the demise of a car. On the other hand, someone is going to buy it.
If I buy it, I know it won't get slapped on a beater and wind up in a wrecking yard in a year or so. :?

I have an 81 hatchback you can put the front bumper cover and hood on. But i'd keep it though. :lol:

good point. No one can stop people from parting out cars, regardless of the many attempts. The only thing you can hope for is that the parts go to preserving another fox in need. There are always buyers for these parts, so if it's not you, it will be someone else.

Maybe it's an NOS hood? It looks brand spanking new, I doubt somebody would pull the hood from a car that looks that good.

Yeah they would if they just can't resist installing a cowl hood. I also think if anyone was indeed needing the hood itself? Better ask for pic's of the bottom\underside.... It could have some extensive rust & quite litterally be worthless except for hanging up on the garage wall as a conversation piece....

I would like that hood/cowl combo for my 82GT - I love the cowl induction...too bad he is Oregon...

I thought I was the only one with weird parts hanging on the wall!
Over the last weekend , I bought the hatch off of Billy Gliddens car just to hang on the wall. The guys at Skinny kid's had it. After BSing with them all weekend , they just about gave it to me. So what could I do.
Its the one off of this car ;
