85 serial numbers

Can anyone tell me were all the serial numbers are located on my 85GT.(On the body)

By "serial number" I assume you mean VIN (Vehicle ID Number). It is in five locations, in whole or in part.

Whole VIN: On a VIN plate, which is atttached to the body, at the base of the driver's side of the windshield On the Vehicle Certification Label, which is affixed to the rear face of the driver's doorPartial VIN: On the Body Tag (a 1¾" x 3½" metal plate), which is attached to the upper radiator "core" support, behind the headlamps. Only the last six characters of the VIN are on that plate. On the inner fender plate, which attached to the forward section of the inner fender, between the inner and outer fenders. (You have to remove the outer fender to dsee it.) Only the last eight characters of the VIN is on that plate. There are two plates; one on each inner fender.If you're asking where the VIN is on each of the body parts, there isn't. That didn't start until '87.

The original engine will have the last 7 stamped in the block on the pad at the rear of the intake, and the original transmission will have the last 7 stamped in the case on the passenger side by were the transmission attaches to clutch housing, it will be visable with the transmission in the car. FYI
