Turbo Rebuild Kit Question

Does anybody know where I can get seal and bearings for 2.3 Turbo?

I just talk to my reliale Ford / Lincoln parts counter man. He said there are not seal and bearing kit for turbo assembly.

Depending on where you live you can find a shop.

Turbonetics I believe sells them, among others.

If you don't loath Ebay, there are people selling them on there as well.

I just want to rebuild the turbo myself. all I need is lousy turbine seal.

anyway, I'll check eBay and Turbonectics for bearing and seal kit.

Their's a turbo company here in Colorado that sell's that stuff.

Try Turbo Engineering Corp..aka TEC in golden colorado.

Randy (svo85) got the part's from them to rebuild the T3 on my SVO and so far so good.

how hard is it to rebuild a turbo. I got one i thought of trying to rebuild but was told you need special tools

Don't believe any special tools are required. If you look at a blown apart picture of a T3 you'll see what needs to be done to take it apart. Maybe...

Most special tool I think would be maybe a cut off wheel and torch for those rusty bolts.
