Anyone know where I can find a headliner board for an '85 bubble back Capri w/ sunroof?

Original fiberglass board is shot due to leaks around sunroof and is currently barely attached to the roof.

I don't really care whether I replace it w/ foam or fiberglass, but would actually prefer foam.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks

www.50resto sells some without the sunroof cutout...but I don't know if it can be adapted correctly for the sunroof....if you ask them I'm sure they will tell you.

My 86 Capri's headliner is thick cardboard and I have the sunroof as well. It looks like what Ford did was take a regular headliner board and punched a hole for the sunroof. If you do get one that has no sunroof cutout, I can upload a pic of my headliner so you know how and where to cut.

Thanks for the info guys. I'm gonna keep looking and see if I can find one already cut for the sunroof, but if I need to I will just buy one and cut it to fit. I'm going to check the local yards too and see if maybe I can slavage something decent.

One question I had though, just out of curiosity since I've never actually compared them, but do you think the dome light might be in a slightly different place b/c of the sunroof? I know mine sits behind the front seats since the edge of the sunroof is about right where the backs of the front seats sit. I would hate to buy a new board to cut to fit just to find out I have to cut twice and possibly end up with a hole somewhere that is not needed.

The dome lamp on the sunroof cars is in a slightly different location than on non-sunroof cars. If you can go to the junkyard and get a used headliner out of a sunroof car, I would highly advise it. It will make your job a ton easier.

yeah, that's what i was thinking. There's a couple local yards there in DFw that have a bunch of 'stangs so I should be able to find something.
