17" wheels for 85 capri any ideas?

Since it looks like I'am keeping my capri and not selling it I'am thinking of taking off my weld wheels and using on one of my mustangs and putting lowering springs on the capri and want to put 17" wheels on it.I would like to keep it 4-lug but might seitch to 5-lug.Anyone have any wheel suggestions that may be available in 4-lug.I had some chrome cobra r wheels on it last year for awhile and really did not like them that well.Plus they are on my wifes 93 Mustang GT and do not want 2 of our cars to have them.If ya got suggestions give them to me.I could even e-mail you a pic if you want to try and photoshop it.

I'd say anything other than Cobra Rs, but you seem to have that covered. How much do you want to spend?

I'd really encourage going 5 lug if you can swing it.

I can swing it But out of the 5 mustangs and 1 capri I own the 91Gt I race is the only car that is 5-lug right now.I really wanted to keep it 4-lug so I could interchange wheels if I want,but I may change it.I have new pair of moser axles ready to go but I do not want to use them in the capri since I will neverbe modifying it enough to ever need an axle like that.

i dont know why you guys dont like cobra'r wheels i know alot of people have them but there really are a nice wheel.i would say thow i like the 9 inch rims with a wider tire i think the cobra r wheels with a small 245 in the back is useless.285's on the rear of mine look alot better then alot of other peoples setup

They are nice, but it seems everyone has them! In the mags, other towns, and the same town. I get sick of seeing them on everything! Dare to be different is my moto.

Maybe if you can snag 93 cobra wheels. They are pricey though. They look nice, 4-lug and not many out there

i sold my friend and 85 capri a few years ago and he switched it to 5-lug and has 94-98 cobra wheels on it and it looks nice.But we live in a small town and with capris as scarce as they are I do not want mine and his to have the same wheels.
