Anyone installed 87-88 Tbird seat's in a stang?
I found a really nice set of black T-bird seat's for cheap that I want to toss into the lx.

I don't see why not if you swap over the seat tracks (note: I haven't done this but I plan on trying it)
Worst case I attack the tracks with the drill press and make em fit.
My GT seats are trashed.

A buddy of mine has them. I figured I would borrow them ans check the fitment this weekend.
Oh yeah PM me if you ever need any custom chassis/welding done.

I have done it, I made a plate for them to sit on, they run across the two studs (across the front , and across the back). In the plate, i mounted a new set of studs to fit the width of the new seats. I can get you the measurements i used to make them if you wish.
The way i see it, those plates are proably reinforecing the damn floor pans!

Yes I do have them powered, We tested the harness to determine the power and ground for the harnesses (we pulled the whole harness/control assembly with the seats) and hooked them to the same circut that powers my fan relay (not the best spot, but it does work ;) )

The Stang tracks should bolt right onto the Tbird seats without any plate. I almost did this with my car.

unless you have fox power tracks, you will lose the power adjust of the seats (depends if that feature matters to you)
