My 1980 Zephyr is back on daily driver duty and after driving it more I think a new set of springs is in order. The old ones are sagging and the fronts may even be meant for a four cylinder car, mine is a six. I don't need anything too sporty, its never going to see roads much more exciting than the high way on my way to work. Any suggestions?
I was thinking stock LTD or Turbo Coupe/T-bird springs would be cheap but still better than stock 'mont parts.

8) get some springs for a mustang, like the motorsports sport springs. the fairmont and the mustang are close in weight so you dont have to worry about them not handling the weight.

Its not that easy, the rear of the fairmont/zephyr is much heavier than a mustang, those springs will put me worse than where I'm at now.

Dont buy TRW springs. Theyll sag as much, if not more than the old ones.
Mustang springs should work fine, unless you keep the trunk full of junk. You could try thinderbird springs.
I fixed mine with adjustable LCAs from hotpart.com.
