Im leaving the seats grey, i would like to dye the door panels as well but am not sure how it would turn out?

there are plenty of pople that have dyed their door panels i think it wouls be much easier then the hard plastic that you dyed. talk to some people that have done it with good results. IMO i think you should do the panels it would contrast better.

well, on one hand, your old door panels are destroyed from those speaker holes, so what do you have to lose? dying the door panels are a very difficult thing, because most of the time, it just winds up looking like ass.

The material is much more flexible, and you need a more flexible dye. Honestly, you would be better off sourcing out some good 83 door panels in black (or pm me)

not really trying to sell you though, but soft stuff like door panels are things imo not good for dying. ALso, with the heavy useage, it's almost gauranteed to get rubbed off eventually

Definately needs black carpet too, or at least very dark gray! I'm not big on dying interior. Painting the hard plastic stuff is a different story since it's easy to do and looks just fine. Good luck with the door panels though, like Jeremy said I would try to find some factory black ones, because the grey just doesn't look right
