Preserving dew wipes

So, I'm under the impression that dew wipes in nice condition are a pretty rare thing nowadays. Mine are still in really great shape, mint if you will. Is there any secrets out there that will keep them this way? I think part of my luck is that this car was garage kept 95% of its life by both me and the original owner. Any chemicals to keep them from drying out, etc.? Just curious. Thanks!!

Keep it in the garage.

Other than that I have no idea. Maybe some silicone spray or some kind of lube to keep them fresh and from cracking.

I just keep the SVO in the garage.
