Well, I was out today with the camara taking some pictures around downtown pensacola and while I was walking back to my car from one location I said "hey, why not get a pic of my car" so I did. You can't really tell but the car is really dirty as well. Here you go...

Yeah, the turbines don't look bad at all! For some reason they look like crap on mine :?

that is a nice, stock looking car.

Does anyone know how many non-GT 5.0's were made in 82? I haven't seen many like this car, especially with t-tops.

I wonder how rare this car is?

The guy I bought my hatchback off of had an original Non-GT 1982 2.3T T-Top... I wanted it.

BTW Sweet 82 The color suits it, and turbines rule 8)

Wow, thanks alot guys for all of the comments.

Hey Matt82GT: well the previous owner (who's a friend of my parents) did the dual exhaust conversion so I'm not sure how difficult it was. It does have the double hump crossmember and it all fits perfect. I'm not exactly sure how the muffler's mounted either, from what I can see on the ground he welded a bracket onto the end of the muffler in about the same location as the driver's side bracket and mounted it to the car with a bushing in between. (Sorry no pictures)

Capri50: I think there were around a total of 4,500 non-GT 5.0's produced in 1982, of that I haven't the slighest clue how many were t-tops. I've never seen another one like it in person and the fews pictures I've seen of them didn't have t-tops. I'm not even sure what to call it because it's not a GT but they didn't call it LX in '82 either.

Thanks about the color & turbines too, it was originally a flat looking medium blue but I got it repainted a few months ago and when I got it back it was this color which I really like. It's metallic and really shines in the sun, it actually looks pretty light in direct sun, but I'm really happy with it.

I don't know why, but I really dig this car. Paint scheme, wheels, scoop, and front end just work for me. Very nice car indeed!

Makes me want to keep mine...

Neat looking car. What all is done to the motor?

I personally think you should reverse the tires so the white lettering isn't showing anymore ... that's a little 1979 if you ask me...

Thanks again everyone..

Not much is done to the motor, just a cobra manifold, edelbrock 600cfm performer carb & K&N air filter ; I have the double hump crossmember with a flowmaster exhaust system and off-road h-pipe. Guess you could say the cars just breathing alot better.

It's kind of funny because when I first saw my car before I bought it I had alot of the same comments. I never thought much or really liked the 4-eyed stangs before I bought mine but there's something about this car...(I don't know; wheels, scoop, etc just work really well together)... I now like and respect all of them.
