Ive had a 93lx for a few years but the body would take alot of work to get it right. I just picked up an 83gt with lots of suspension mods done. Has a TC 8.8 with the disc brakes and 355 gears/ Eibach pro springs,11" lincoln rotors up front and the SVO brake system. Also has subframe connectors and its a very solid body. Only thing i dont like is the red on black interior. The door panels are pretty much rotted away and the drivers side window wont roll. The windows and door lock are manual. I have power stuff in my 93 and was wanting some opinions on whether i should take the power stuff out of the 93 and put in the 83? Is it a pretty big project? What about the door panels and whatever else i can adapt into the 83 from the 93? The 83 is a bright red with the black stripe on the hood. The interior from my 93 is opal. Would it look stupid? Just wanted some input. Nice boards btw, i think ive about read every post lol . Just wasnt clear if i can take the power stuff and put in there without major issues. Thanks for any feedback and comments.

You'd have to exchange the 'guts' of the doors:

Door panels will interchange with a little work:

I think Opal Grey door panels would look stupid with an all black interior. Dye the '93 Opal Gray door panels Black.

Thanks for the reply. I didnt mean id paint everything but the door panels tho lol, I meant like making the interior black and opal. My door panels are 2 tone black and opal. I was thinking maybe painting the red parts of my dash opal and using the kick panels and such out of my 93. But, i have also considered the paining it all black route too. Ive read that some ppl here have done it with success but the 1 time ive done it b4, it peeled off pretty easily within a few months.

Oh, and i forgo tot add that the front seats are corbeaus in a grey color so almost match the opal. I would also take the back seats from the 93 and throw in there too so i guess i cant go completly black cause that seat is a grayish color too.

And after reading those posts you gave me links too again. Anyone think the harness for power windows is going to be there in the kick panel considering this is a non power window car? Im going to look later, just not sure if i know what im looking for.
