Yup, goto Turboford.org and you'll see plenty of informaiton.

Just a note...its not a direct bolt on affair.

Yes its not that easy. It takes a lot of work, welding and making sure all the holes line up. Though great news!

40bob is looking at a guy he knows who can pour a mold for a custom DOHC semi-hemi for the 2.3L though the price is going to be around 3500$ for a complete kit (estimated price).

The DOHC is something that I want to get into but first I will just use the gutted/ported/polished head w/ oversized valves and dual springs.

yup, I see a turbo ford guy in the local yards. He has a Built t-coupe and build SVO. One time I had run into him in one of the yards pulling that same type of set up off of a Volvo. I ask him about it and he explained it to me. Real nice guy... ex Marine if I remember right.

To expensive, to time consuming, and to far away from stock for me.
The SVO will keep small bolt on's that can be reversed easilly.

Now if I still had my 89 turbo notch I would love to do something like that.
Or wait for 40bob to get his shiz done.

Its not for you anyway :D

It "should" be easily reversible actually. But something more your speed would be a mild ported head and maybe a Bob Log.

LOL.

You know me way to well.

Yeah I ave no desire to turn the SVO into a street beast. Another 30-40 HP would be perfect for that car but that's it.

Well shizzle, just get an upgraded T3 wheel and turn the boost up and you'll be a happy duckling.

Doesn't Ford make a DOHC 2.3 now. I'm thinking it has a chain instead of a belt though.

 It's under armed guard

Actually it would take a bit to get this to work since part of it is a prototype piece.....I had it stored on the 2.3 that came out of my teal SVO but I took it apart and up to the machine shop today so I removed the head.....Here is a pic of it apart ;)

I've got at least 9 engine stands here and I need about 5 more....Go to your local Advance Auto Parts and see if the manager will cut you a deal if you need more than 1....I hit mine up(ofcourse I do a lot of business with him) and he hooked me up with 4 of them at $30 each and they are the 4 wheel style. The only complaint I have is that they could be a little taller but the quality is decent.

They are turbines...what else are you going to do with them? :P

Looking at that cylinder head makes me want to do two things:

1. Reverse engineering

2. Touch myself in naughty places. 8O
