I dunno about him, But I Did the inside panels
It looks like ****, I will admit that...In sunlight of course, it looks good at night though.
But thats only because I have no idea why, I even wipe the panels down with some "purple" (some type of paint cleaner I dunno the name of it), but in some spots it seemed like the paint would leave spots.
Not like it matters because I think Im gonna wrap the int in Vinyle, Maybe give it the "new age" Look?
any Idea's to what the spots would be from?

I have never tried the Fusion stuff.
I wipe everything down with Vinyl Prep...two or three times.
I use adhesion promotor and MetroMustang vinyl paint.
The adhesion promotor makes the stuff stick and they come out looking new.

What about this "dye" That I keep hearing of? It's like 60$ a can. I guess it opens up the pours on plastic when its wet and seeps into it then closes when it drys, Apparently you have to crack it before you can see the original plastic....

Did he get a quart can of dye instead of 5 rattle cans?....the price is probably about the same $50-60.

For the inside you should have a company do it, they can change the color of your interior vinals/plastics while keeping the texture and it looks pro.
For the outside, you have you use a FLEX PAINT, if you dont it will flake off *cough*. You will use an additive to get it on. Now even the FLEX additive is not fool proof, we find that you may want to drive around with the unpainted panel's for a good few months. Once that is done its a pretty sure bet you wont have any problems unless someone hits you or you it.

I agree with jpywell, when I painted the whole exterior of my car, I used a bit of Flex Agent in my paint for the bumpers, when I primed my car I did the bumpers seperatly using a Flex Primer. It works wonders... Just go to your local body shop, they'll mix you up a good batch ofwhat you need...

The sign of someone who knows what they are talking about lol :)
No flex on plastic/rubber = Flaking paint guarenteed.

yeah, flex agent is a must on the urethane bumper covers...i was thinging when i do my car, and the amount of flex in the paint is nil, i might as well flex the whole car and not have to remover hte bumper covers...won't hurt anything, and lil bits just bounce off lol

I just taped off my bumpers, screw removing them, To much time/effort only to have everything chip to hell on the egdes when you try to line everything up again.
