Hey everyone. I just wanted to show a few pic's of some nice 'stangs out here in Califonia. Pontiac Magazine was having a shootout & photo shoot; so the Mustang turnout was only about 20 or so for the day. i had fun running my best et's ever, had a few brew's, fixed & tuned a few friend's cars, & basically had the usual time of my life kind of weekend....

Yep, it's a former MM&FF or 5.0 Magazine feature car.....

Not a foureye..... But, prop's to the guy to wedge a lightning motor in there nonetheless! He ran the factory setup with a shot of nozzzz to the tune of 11.49 on it's first voyage down the track ever. Yep, he didn't get to run anymore that day; no cage....

The lightning swap is becoming commonplace...somewhat.

Might not be running a stock Ford system anymore.

ya, i was thinking he's probably running a stand-alone engine management system... but dont they still need to measure the incoming air. Or do they get readings from the actual intake manifold.

Exactly where they get the info from. MAP sensor like the 86-88 Mustangs.

The supercharger pulley and single-blade throttle body aren't exactly stock either. Looks like a fun ride though.

Yeah, you could tell from the grin that extended "ear to ear" on his face. The grin didn't get wiped off even when he was being told under no circumstances was he to hit the nitrious again.

There were Mustangs from every generation there & I'm sorry for not getting more foureye pic's..... Most were "aero-stangs" like mine & I spent too much time helping other guy's with thier car issues between runs.

Hopefully I can go back up in a week or two with a few minor mod's that might put me into the 12 teens or twenties.....
