Man... that's a shame. He was the best Late Night shows to watch prior to his retirement.

I watched him since I was a kid through the 70's and 80's. That is a bummer. He really went into hiding after leaving the show in 1992, when that jack-a** leno took over.

My coworkers and I still do the 'Carnack' impressions.

I liked when he had the animal experts on, and they would always take a dump or pee on his desk. He'd get all bent out of shape.

He probably had some of the best timing in the business... and could get out of bad jokes like no other...
