Thats more of a no eyed....Your missing a couple parts :P

Get some good pics of it before you start touching it. I made the mistake to take crappy pics of mine when I first got it and regret it.

a tease indeed. I lightened the pic up a little, I'm def guess at an 85/86 ssp, and even more, guessing at tan interior :)

I'm going to have to state that it is an '86.

I would hope it's at least an SSP since you're selling that nice vert for it.

i, too have been watching that same car for about a year. i really wanted to buy it, but have too many other projects. plus the damage in the back kind of turned me off a bit. i do like what he did with the engine bay!

Well Phil, since you asked, I guessed '86 SSP because it obviously had to be something really special for you to switch gears when you already had a nice four-eye. When you posted a pic of a coupe minus some sheet metal, SSP was the natural guess. I knew it was an '86 because I happened to recall reading a for sale thread where you had just purchased an '86 owners manual. That was my tip-off as to the year. If I just saw that pic without any background info I SSP wouldn't have crossed my mind. If I saw the wheels however, that would have been a big clue.

Same here. As soon as I read the thread I figured it was a notch and the only time anyone would drive that far for a wrecked notch is if it was a SSP.

Was that the ssp that was also on ebay?

I'm not sure if it was on anytime in the past, I don't remember seeing it on eBay at all.

Maybe you are thinking of the 86 FHP SSP that was just on eBay within the last week? That one was owned by a member of sspmustang.org. It too needed some work, but it was totally fixable.

You guys should see the 85 CHP SSP that is on eBay now... it's in IRELAND. It was imported there from the US, but now the guy is reselling due to the extreme costs to get the car on the road over there... If someone is looking for a nice 4Eye SSP, that one is REALLY nice and hardly needs anything!!
