its starting right here in milwaukee this year and me and my buddy are hoping to both have our cars ready and done any one else thinking of tagging along at all this year we will follow it to tallahasse fl were my family owns property and crash there for a couple days and then cruise back i can get ya free room and board in florida let me know if anyone wants to meet up and do some cruisn its always nice to have somone with ya so if any problems come up we can work together to figure them out!.a bunch of us from fep would be cool

That was back when I drove the white one quite a bit. Obviously it was still a sunny and clear only thing.

Serious fun tho if you guys get a chance to go. 3700 hot rods on the highway at one time is a pretty awesome sight!

I'm planning on taking the ferry across to Milwaukee and cruising down south from there. Not sure if I'm doing the whole tour yet, maybe to Tenn. or maybe become an official member of the long haul gang.

I will be going on the tour from the kick off to Tenn. it is going to be me and my father and a buddy. My capri won't be ready but i'll be in my 04 mustang. Last year was a blast. We went to iowa just for fun. I'm from central Illinois, anyone from around here let me know maybe we could get a group. I will try to check this more offten

Have any you done the complete tour (long haul)? This will be my fourth year, so far I've done:
2004 2 stops, Chicago & Green Bay (86 GT)
2002 2 stops, Columbus & Detriot (86 SVO)
2001 Detroit to Missouri (86 GT)
(I think that's how it went)
Not sure what one to drive this year, either the 86 GT or Capri.

I wasgoing to do it this year but I'm now on a 6 month deployment that might be turning into a 9 month trip to Cuba!, but one good thing is that I'll get a good tax-free re-inlistment pay..

We did the '04 run in my SVO. Went from Dallas to StLouis, turned back to Denver from there. It is an awesome gatehring. The only time the Vette guys even wave to you. We saw a couple of Fox cars, and ONE was even a 4-eye. Hope there is a good 4-eye turnout in 05. In 04 there were about 3500 cars. There are some major car #s and everyone is real cool. The parking lots at every hotel are full of tailgaters that wanna BS and have beers.

Of course it can get out of hand...

just found out tonight that a friend is driving his 93 Cobra to the start and driving all the way to FL.. I am getting a ride with him and then in Indy i am picking up my white LX or the ASC and possibly driving with him to FL. Time to apply for the vacation time.

As of right now, I'm planning to catch on in Nashville and follow at least through Birmingham... perhaps more. Unfortunately, I can't spend too much time on it... I have a family reunion the week after and I have use vacation time for. But I do have 2 days off that week and both will be used in the pursuit of HOT RODS!!!

Anyone heading to Nashville... watch for a post in the regional section for a FEP meet!
