Anybody have rear window louvers on their 4 eye'ed Hatch? I'd like to see them! I'm thinking of doing the same to my 85.
Thanks

The rattled alot., had to prop them up to clean the window, but they looked killer on the car. If you look futher into the pic I posted you will see what happened to the car.
Aw man.... :( *sigh* Not a good end. Sorry for your loss man... I know how it feels to loose a FOX.
What was the cause?
My 79 Fairmont Futura... My 85 Mustang GT 347 stroker project... was smacked by an SUV on Dec 1st... it's front end was hit from the side and fairly much just as bad looking as your bueaty... so I took a loss on the car and sold it to a freind as a parts car. Funny thing... This same friend had given me a track loc 8.8" with 2.73. The first thing I did was upgrade it to 10" drums then toss it in the Futura. Corse, he now has it BACK with better brakes... along with alot of other goodies... like a 50-60K mile rebuilt V8.

My ex was driving it and someone pulled out in front of her, (the green blazer), she hit them going around 55mph, it was their fault and no-one was seriously hurt...
I was able to get $3200 for the car and keep it. Needless to say I parted it out, I still have some of the parts here and there.

Wow and i thought mine was bad. I rear ended a pt cruiser in my 81 doing 35 and it was almost that bad but not quite. Anyway do you still have any of it? Cause i could use some stuff off of it like maybe the rear wing or spoiler and the hatch emblems. They would work on mine. Anyway after i get a good digital camera i'll post the after pics. My old account had the after wreck pics in the album but i don't know about my new account anyway i'll post some pics of after My dad and I rebuilt some of the front with 83 parts.

¤¤¤¤Announcement about selling in tech forums¤¤¤¤
I have received numerous complaints regarding members trying to sell items to people in tech threads. I'm now putting in writing an official policy regarding this:
Freebie items where a member appears to need an item and another member offers it up free of charge are OK. It's a genuinely helpful gesture in the spirit of what this site wants to stand for. That's fine. It would be best if this offer was kept to PMs, but there will be no actions taken against those offering up parts for free.
If a member posts "where can I find _____?" generally means they're looking for a retail source. Recommending businesses are okay, telling them to search at X or Y is fine. Taking the post as though it were a want ad is not acceptable. Want to offer this member parts? Do it through PM, but keep it off of the forums. Keep it out of sight.
When a member posts about a part and how to fix it, what to do with it, etc. don't post what you have for sale that is related to it in response. If you have the overwhelming urge to let the member know that you have this item available for purchase, PM them. Please do not clutter up tech posts by advertising your wares.
In short, if you've got something to offer another member with no cost or strings associated, you're welcome to do so. If you want to sell something to someone due to a TECH posting of theirs, keep it out of the thread and take it to PM.
Posts within tech-related threads that are advertisements for items for sale will be edited or deleted without prior warning.
Thank you.

Take it to PM, E-mail, or to the classified forums. This forum is not for buying or selling parts. This forum is for tech only.

Back to the topic....
I have rear louvers :)

I think they are great on the right car. I like the way they look, they can be a bit of a pain to keep clean and it's harder to wash the back window.

Mine are pretty quiet actually. no complaints. If I you had a loud stereo in the car with a lot of bass, they night rattle a bit.
But day to day driving, I can't hear them.
Mine from the factory have a rubber gasket that seals the louvers to the hatch, so they are pretty tight against the car and don't move around much.

that sounds good i might actually get some if i can find them after hearing that.
