will a crack/ fracture in my t-5's bell housing cause problems?

Honestly I would have to ask where does it start & stop.
I can say without doubt yes it will affect things, how much depends on where the crack is

It can be nothing major or something that needs to be fixed.

it runs from the back of where the throwout "actuator" lever is to up the side somewhere i can't see where it stops
i have no dust cover, it fell off somewhere..... :roll:

well, i would say u have 3 options....u can drill a small hole at the end of the crack to keep it from continuing, or u can weld the crack shut, or u can get a new bell housing....i would recmmend just getting a new one, cus ur gonna have it out for any of the 3 options, so might as well get that new sfi approved piece...good luck

just get a new bell housing cause even if it does not have any problems know it will n the past my friends car did it and it just started to fu*k up his tranny.

I'd get a new bellhousing, if you plan on racing and the tech officials see it, you'll get booted
