Hola, I am new to this mustang carbed setup, mostly and EFI guy so if anyone can help a brothat out on this fuel system.

OK, I want to get a pickup like this one

run braided lines from the pickup to the filter then filter to pump. Then from the pump run 3/8-1/2 inch line to the regulator and go braided in the engine bay.

Have anyone used this kit from Summit

Summit Kits (http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?target=esearch.asp&N=110&Ntk=KeywordSearch&Ntt=summit+braided+line)

Any Suggestions on what else to do

one thing u can do is get either a fuel cell to fit, or put a tank from an older car and then run all ur lines like u described...keep us posted

for about the same price as that pickup you can get a sump for your tank and be better off.

Alot depends on what brand equipment you run.
I have areromotive stuff and I run a short section of braided from my cell to a prepump filter which is hooked straight into the pump with just a union fitting and a after pump filter hooked up the same. Then I ran 5/8" aluminum line using russle hard tube an adapters to the front of the car and a short section of braided to the regulator. and then ran 1/2" aluminum line from the regulator to the area under the cell and unioned it to braided to run to the the top of the cell into a 90 fitting I put on top for the return.

Now after doing all that I am not that happy with the aluminum line(well I'm happy with it, but one of my pit monkeys isn't) so now I am going to swap over to the twistlock style line to replace the aluminum lines.

I have an 85 gt tank. A guy from my club has a sumped tank with the -an lines.
