if you have any milkyness no its not safe to drive at all that headgasket is just waiting to go even more.i wouldnt attempt it unless you dont care about your motor

man dont drive it start it or anything, u could get coolant in ur crankacase and mess up all the bearings, wipe out ur crank, cam, and destroy a lot of other stuff. not to mention ur oil pressure will be crazy high. get it fixed and dont risk it.

I agree with the other posters, if the oil looks milky don't drive it. However, if all you are getting is air bubbles in the coolant then yes you can still drive it - my 5.0 has a partialy lifted head gasket in the right rear, been that way for > 30 K miles . . . however, the car is used strictly to go 7 miles each way back and forth to work, no long distances.

There are some newer block saling treatments you can try as well . . . the good ones require completely flushing over to water (all glycol must be out), treating, draining overnight with a compressed air purge, then flushing the following day draining and adding antifreeze. Might work for a gasket that is pressurizing the cooling system, but don't think about it if coolant is turning the oil milky.
