Never even knew these existed, I saw someone post about a turbo fairmont for sale on ebay so I went to check it out seeing as they are rare. But this takes the cake, a turbo zephyr sedan. And the most suprising part is the car is within an hour of where I live! Even has the same paint scheme as my zephyr. If I didn't pickup the 91' grand marq I'm driving now I would be all over it. Anybody want my old zephyr z7 so I can save a turbo sedan?

Ours has an auto, I remember going to the junkyard with my dad when I was 4 or 5 to find a shifter assembly for it.

Hi all,
I know that the auction for this car is over but when I saw it I read at the 'ask seller a question' that someone had told the seller that the car was a fraud and 'had been made from 2 door parts'. The seller wrote back that she had the original window sticker which clearly showed the turbo engine option. I too was still a little skeptical so I looked at my 1980 Fairmont Ford factory brochure to see if the option was listed and if it was body style specific. I had not looked at this brochure in a long time and when I took it out I did not have to look any further as the 'cover' car on this brochure was a 4-door Turbo. WOW. Im still sure they are very rare though.
