I'm not a motorhead, so that engine just amazes me. How much time and money did it take for you to achieve what you did in the engine bay?

The car was dyno tested with the nitrous system at 406 RWHP and 486 lbs/ft Torque, it was pushin 12's . That was done before the stock pistons and rods and smaller cam were yanked, I replaced it with all new parts in late 2003, the car has about $9,500 invested into it since bought. I haven't dyno tested or taken it onto the track since the rebuild of the motor.

I'm the seller the bid was too low, but it is still on the market. I don't want to give it up, but I need money for college.

What did you spend 9.5k on in that motor??

I have a motorsport B50 block, 331 4340 stroker crank, 4340 H-beam rods, Ross Pistons, TFS heads, Anderson B41 cam, etc. Everything was balanced & blueprinted using all top-shelf parts and it didn't cost anywhere near that much $$.

I am not trying to be a wise guy, I am just curious what would cost that much money. Is it an A4 or R302 block??

$9,500 is bennett racing pro-built race engine territory.

ps. the door panel police are coming after you for those speakers! 8)

Yeah unfortunately the speakers were already in the panels when I bought it, I feel it was an unwise decision from the previous owner, he didn't know what he had.
