Anybody have access to Floridian Police Records?

I want to research a police report about my car that came up on CarFax.

The car was in a rear end accident:

7/19/90 - Florida Rear End Accident . Case #12812687

I have the Florida license plate number too (at home)...but it may not be from the same owner.

Anybody got some "contacts"? Anybody know where is the best place in Florida to start?

Not to hijack, but since it concerns Carfax Reports:

My car reads from 94 on. Any reason why it may be this way?

Some states don't record everything.

Mine starts at 1990 and the only mileage entry was when it was titled in NYS in 92.

do you know what agency worked the collision? If so, you can contact there records department, and buy a copy of the report....or at least you should be able to, such a report is a matter of public record, excluding of course particular information about the people involved.

forgot to mention, with a report number like that, I'd probably start with FHP, and go from there.

Yeah, I don't have the city or county.

Just the #.....and there are a crapload of Florida counties.

yes, but very few counties work accidents, hence check with FHP, given a number that large, it will likely be from FHP.

contact FHP though their website its not hard to find just do a search and ask them to send you a copy with the names blacked out and they will either email you or mail it do to where its scanned in the data base they are pretty cool about stuff like this they sent me a report on the rearender that my moms classic was in.
