Hi guys. I was just told about this Site yesterday by a guy I met at Mustang Magic on Long Island. I'm sorry but I forget his name, but he had a Silver 86 Hatch with this trick gauge replacement panel. Maybe He'll chime in. Anyway just wanted to introduce myself a little.

My Names Josh, I'm 23 and I currently live in westbury on Long Island, NY. I am however moving to Huntington soon. I have a 1986 GT Vert. I am in the process of building in my spare time. 8Pnt Bar, Tubular K-member, Lakewoods, carb conversion, 351 conversion, TKO-500...etc. Eventually it will be nice. Its a convertible, how fast could it possibly be  My other car is a black 2001 F-150 Lightning. Its got some mods on it as well and so far to date has gone 12.68@107 at only 2lbs of boost over stock.

Nice site and hope to maybe one day meet some of you guys.

There is a no picture in sig policy ;) They take up lots of room, make load times longer ect. there's a sticky about it somewhere, you gotta remove it :? Welcome that's a damn fine truck!! The verts very clean also.. Mods list for both?

no pics in sig makes things slow ? never heard of that one, and I'm on a dial up connection, but very well I'll take it down in a few mins. Thanks for the welcome, and thanks for the compliment on the truck.

So far it all it has done is a 2lb. lower pulley, single blade throttle body, anderson ford power pipe, Ram air intake, traction bars, and chip. Its run a best of 12.68@107 in the quarter as of now. But new times are coming soon.

The mustang was a stock 86 5.0 car, but I recently ripped out the 302 in favor of a worked up 351. I'm doin a Carb converson as well. I also ditched the stock heavy k-member and put in a QA1 tubular one. New motorsport a-arms, Lakewood 90/10s, and HPM solid drop mounts. I also had a 8pnt Rollbar and sub frame connectors welded in. I also removed the AC, and power steering in an effort to remove weight. I have plans to also add a TKO-500 tranny, new beefed up 8.8 rear with 4.30gears, UPR rear kit(uppers & lower plus rear drag bar) and quite a few other things. When done, it should be a fun toy.

4.30's? 8O Haha definetly not a highway cruiser eh? Haha!! Sounds like it will be an awesome toy! I was going for a 351 swap in my stang but a cheap 302 and tranny found their way into my hands instead haha! Why not drop the Lightning block into the Stang? Haha Then 522 Crate engine the Lightning? That would be killer, but way to expensive haha!! What times are you shooting for in the Truck? Stang? When all is said and done with both.

The truck I'm shooting for high 11's and the mustang I'm hoping for high 10s maybe less after I install the nitrous on it. I think it would be cool to go to the track with my truck towin the stang on a trailer, and then race them both to 11 and 10sec times then drive home. alot of people will be like 8O Actually with that tranny, those gears, and 26" tall tires I think the guy said I should only be around 28-2900rpm at 70. Thats what the guy at the tranny shop said anyway. I dunno how accurate it is, but I'll find out  With the exhaust I have planned and that setup it should be nice and loud. Gotta love the sound of Mac Long Tube 1 5/8 Headers w/ 3" collectors, Mac 3" Pro-Chamber(or Dr. Gas 3" X-Pipe, havent decided which yet), and Mac 3" Pro Dumps.
