You've got the most interesting user name and your location says Japan...this is all too intriguing to ignore.

Also, put that sig banner image in your post so those who didn't see it last night can see it now. Although we don't allow sig banners here, I gotta admit, that was one of the cooler ones I've ever seen.

Thanks for joining, I hope you enjoy your stay. :)

wow a site for little old me and Bloody Hell  you guys do us to much justice. We are just transplanted americans living on Misawa AB in japan. I am ex Air Force (jet engine Mechanic) and my wife is still in the Air Force. we should be back in the states in Apr of 05. My car has been with me for a while and gets all kind of looks out here seeing most american cars out here are the newer style sports cars or really old classics sported by some officers. me and the car go streetracing every fri and sat that it dont snow she is holy crap red and is running 575 at the flywheel which is twice as much as some of the racers here but to live here is to respect imports because my daily driver because gas aint cheap here is a 94 Suburu WRX that i have moded to run 395 hp at the flywheel which can keep up with the capri through the first three gears which is mighty impressive for a stock tranny and a threeplate clutch glad you guys like the sig Brain Benefold at xfoa.net made it and he is a wizard to say the least and the bad word aint my fault a friend of mine from england who joined the USAF gave it to the car because of the first time he drove it it threw him farther in to the seat then his skyline gtr and wasnt yurbo and didnt look very fast actuall quote from him " Bloody Hell she got more balls than ron jeremy on steroids, heck thats what we will call her" dont ask my friend is special in the head from all of the jet fuel fumes.

anything else? :evl:

Very cool! I'd love to go to Japan. I'm trying to work on a few phrases to amuse a new volunteer at my office (she's married, Ricky...) who just got here about a month ago.

If you ever see any RHD early Foxes, please get pics! A few were converted and sent over.

Thanks to both you and your wife for your service. Always wanted to go into the Air Force when I was a kid. Ah, well. Pics of cars, local sites, planes, etc. are always welcome!

Seriously, didn't Nissan rip-off the Capri when it designed the R34 Skyline? Fender bulges, square body, wide and low-slung?

Just kidding. Nice Capri tho, and how does compare to the local racers?
Mostly drifters? Or do they drag too? Man, I can't wait till i go to Japan....

I need a GTR!!!!

saephyus_misawa, how tough is it getting your car through the J.C.I.?

A friend of mine in Okinawa had a 1982 Capri, and he had a bear of a time getting the J.C.I. done on it. My 82 Skyline was no picnic getting through J.C.I., but not near the trouble as his Capri (aftermarket intake/carb/exhaust/etc.)

i dont have a problem at all but im an misawa and they are a little less anal and all i have to do to pass is put the silincers on my exhaust so to pass the noise part, then again im up there all the time and pretty much the only american there 4 days out of the week so they treat me different and it helps to speak the language. all helps in the long run i pay an assload for road tax though

I have to add some things here:

A: You put what would come to 530ish hp to the ground effectively through radial T/As?

B: do you have a dyno sheet to back up the HP claims? I dislike huge hp claims without a dynosheet to back it up.

C: Lets see a modification list for 575 crank hp.

I'll call BS that it makes 575 crank hp with a stock 302 block n/a.

Especially with the list of mods there, with that you're looking at maybe 340hp depending on the stroker.

edit: car domain does say TT setup, and also a 3.45 gearand the jap spec Subaru is sold...

I'll say that the et/trap speed is possible, I watched my brothers car run a 14.40 at 122 once....lol

I still call BS, and I've thought so from the beginning.

That being said, I'd love to be proven wrong. If he can produce a dyno sheet for ~530hp or a video of said 1/4 mile run, I'll shut up.

First of all i used to live in michigan a town named hastings so yes it had michigan plates and the pics i put up are 3and a half years old because i dont have a digital camera because i havent bought one and 2 yes i have a dyno sheet but it is in japanese and i have a hard time translating it. 3 say what you want i dont call bs when i dont see pics so f*** off if you dont believe me ok caus i sure dont care what others think buds i come here to read up on other four eyes and get asked whats in my car i tell you and now im lying and the cardomain sie regestars apo,ap (military ) in california and i havet updated that site in a while cause i lost the password and havent had the time to put in to it that it deserves

any thing else????

What is the car stroked to? You mentioned the stroker twice.... In the the thread on here, you did not mention the TT, but I did see it on your site......

Not trying to start sh!+ here, just trying to get all of the facts.....

saephyus_misawa
09-25-2004, 11:25 PM
the TT is gone due to problems, i think its 331 but this not the motor i bought the car with i bought this motor off of ebay and i listed what the exowner said was done and as far as i can tell he isnt lying to me i had a buddy with me that knows strokers when i tore it a part to make sure everyting was up to snuff before i dropped it in so if things are fishy with engine details sorry going off what i know about a motor i bought off of ebay a year ago and i am runnig 11 not always low 11s but elevens still and as for starting stuff its ok but i have the same doubts here till i show people my tail lights in the 1/4 or the 1/8 depending on what strip im on its cool just hate being doubted by all and then having to prove my self to eveyone more than once thats all

Is there a cage in the car? At least here, you need a cage in the 11's....
Are you running that on street tires? Does that explain the 2.6 60'?

saephyus_misawa
09-25-2004, 11:40 PM
i think the 2.6 is wrong i have to check my timeslips but then again everything here is done in meters so might be a little of anyways and yes i have a cage now didnt when i first broke in to 11s but didnt know i would when i did it because i hadnt dyno since the new engine but its caged now but its stilll street legal and all thank god and im now run nitto drag radials and the first couple of times i was on street tires that are rated zr if that helps

BRUNO

This guy is funny!!!!!
He doesn't know anything about his engine, doesn't know what his 60' is, ran 11's on street tires, knows it makes 575 horsepower in japanese(what that is in english, who knows), but he is sure that he's not bull ****tin.

Hey guys, in Japan my cock is four feet long! (or maybe it's 4 meters long)

I believe you buddy, but wait until next months muscle mustang & fast ford magazine comes out then you can tell everyone what your set up is. (after you find a good one)

saephyus_misawa
09-26-2004, 08:31 AM
hey bruno even in japan your cock is small since you bring it up and they do stuff different out here like for drags they do 1/2 mile instead of a quater because they believe its a better test and they also think that wise asses should put up or shut up and as for my dyno pulls they are say 575 and my time slips say 11 seconds so if you want muscle mustang to come out here to prove you wrong then bring them but i aint worried just because ive had more than one set up in a car i know guys here in japan that cahnge engines evey fricken year so yes i am sure about some and not others and yes i can and will prove it to anyone willing to fly out here in the next month or so before it snows and the car goes to get ready to be shipped to the states to wait for my return and prove myself to a whole new set of disbelievers so what up now you guys ask i give as much info as i can and im not a expert like a couple of the guys here and thats because im young and dont have as much experiance as they do so bruno what you got huh prolly nothing but a small cock and a big mouth so shove off me because i dont like to write things like these because its usually a waste of my time and if this offends anyone else who is not affore mentioned im sorry but people tend to get my temper boiling so bruno am i funny now????

Asking for details and wanting a straight story = OK

Calling names, fanning flames = NOT OK

I hate bad internet info as much as anyone else, but the way to go about verifying someone's claims is not by starting this sort of stuff. Least not here.
