if i get a manual brake plate for my 85 this will take out my brake booster right. how much worst will the brakes be? will the brakes still need a vacume hose to them?

Are you talking about one of those kits, or just getting a plate from a non-power brake car? If you do the latter, you'll have to change the master cylinder as well. And no, you won't need the vacuum hose any longer.

rember if you go to manual brakes, you will also want to change the brake pedal. The one for manual brakes has a diffrent piviot point to give you more leverage.

I did not change the pedal box in my car. And it stops from 125 easy well before the return road.

You will not need to change the brake pedal.

When I put the manual brakes in my car I changed the pedal.The manual brake pedal makes it much easier to stop as it has different leverage.If you compare a power brake pedal to a manual brake pedal you will see that the manual one has the the pin located about an inch higher than on the power one.I tried running it at first with the power brake pedal and found that it was like trying to stop a power brake car with the motor off.
