I like "the next look" with silver ponies...They look badass, the SSP styles are OKAY to, but Im not a fan of the black ponies......Sorry man just not a fan of black rims, they just don't sit right with me :)

No problem, not a lot of people love black rims like me. The silver ponies looked wicked when the car was lower like in the picture, but once I installed the Drag Launch's it lifted it way up and they just didn't look right. Plus my theme is Grey/Black/SSP, so the black ponies fit.

I'm all over the place on this one. I love the stock ponies, but only on 1991-1993 GTs. They don't look right on four-eyes.
Painted black, however, the ponies look very nice on your car. Well done. The blacked-out ten-holes are my favorite though. I used to think long and hard about acquiring an ex-State Patrol car just so that I could drive a car with those cool black wheels.

I like it!!! I like the blacked out rims, both sets!!!!
I have ponies on my 4 eyed vert and I like the look., I'm planning on black ten holes on my coupe.

I like it, but I did like the lowered stance better..... hard to make your car look bad.....its just too badass.

One of the main reasons that I fell in love with and bought a 2003 SVT Cobra was because of the availability of the 10th Anniversary Edition that has the dark gray wheels instead of the silver five-spoke wheels. I just love dark wheels on a Mustang.

Looks awesome with the black ponies! I usually like the silver better, but for some reason the black wheels make your car look cleaner. If you wanted a low stance with good weight transfer you could opt for the 4 cylinders up front (what I did). Your car looks badass though

Frickin bad azz dude! I love those black rims. Car looks mean, but in a very subtile way. I can see how people might go for its a 6er and then you blow them away! Nice work.

if you can get that same "next look" stance with the black ponies, it would be soooo badass

i think i am going to try some 4 cylinder springs i had sitting around. maybe those will drop it but still give me decent weight transfer. for people still reading this thread. i recently busted the cowl up when i had the hood off, and found a new one and just painted it black. when i got the car most everything was bodycolor, slats, cowl, the windwhield trim at the bottom etc. do you guys think i should go ahead and paint the slats black? or would that look retarded?
