Darcy, if you've got all the SVO #s handy, email 'em to me and I'll post an SVO # thread. I think I'm also going to lock all these so we don't clutter up these production # threads with posts. Questions can be posted in separate threads.

I'm sure if I rooted around enough I could find them, but..well..I figure you probably have them handier than I do.

No, that includes both the LX notch w/ the 2.3L engine and the LX notch w/ the 5.0L engine.

I have never seen a 86 LX hatchback 5.0 just 5.0 GT`s

According to the Third Generation News and Beyond Registry (http://www.thirdgenerationnewsandbeyond.com/1986.htm), 2,825 '86 LX 5.0L sedans (26M) were produced.

That's probably pretty darn accurate, considering Stew Jones (the guy that runs that 'site) gets his information directly from Ford's own archives.

that link plus Ford's stats giv us the opertunity to do the math!
This thread (as well as other documents state that this is correct for GT's!
GT: 50,465
GT convertible: 9,887

OK, with these numbers, there were 40,578 GT haches made, and per that link, 43, 016 hatches with a 5.0, meaning that 2,438 were NOT a GT, therefore, an LX!!! I finally have the number!!! also, 1,378 verts and the 2825 coupes, add up to 6641 LX 5.0's....ok, I realize that is off by 33, but it is darn close!

to make it better, 190 of the hatches and 11 verts became Saleens
