ok, im going to do the cheap 5 lug swap with mark7 rotors and ranger axles, but what wheels could i run? isnt the dust cap an issue? would i have to run a wheel that had centercaps? like stock 94-95 wheels? or is there something else i could do to use say bullits in front. if i used lincoln set up up front and rangers in rear would that let me run bullits? finally what wheels should i run? heres a pic for reference.

Stock 94-95 wheels should fit. It's either 96+ or 97+ that dont clear the hub/dust cap.

The lincoln rotors are the same as the svo rotors.

I'm not sure if you will have any problems witht the offset of the wheels. Seems that most people that do the swap run wither the 94-95 cobra wheels or the 16 inch waffle/pony wheels.

you can run the tri-bars(17"),waffles(16"),and the 94-97 Cobra rims. You canNOT run Bullets, well, unless you want to look ghetto with the dustcap stickin out farther than the rim lol. And i think its 98+ that you can't use,so 94-97 rims are your only stock options. I say go tri bars or 94-97 Cobra's....look at Hoopties car, looks sweet! 8O

94-95 wheels fit with center cap. They may rub the fenderwell or control arm slightly with a full turn. 96-98 wheels or bullitts will fit, but the center caps will not, UNLESS you use a spacer, such as the ones from Maximum Motorsports. Just for those wanting to know. I have a set of Bullitts on my 03 Ranger and I had to use 1 1/4" spacers on the front to clear the control arms on full turn radius. They look good though. I'll post some pics of tribars on my capri, 03 Cobra anniversary wheels on my Capri and Bullitts on the truck. :)

Spacers are not recommended(so i hear) safety issues.Plus why would you want your stang to look all mexicanized?

hubcentric spacers are ok as long as you are not balls-out racing with them. And yes 93 Cobra R's are cool. I have a set of replicas (no chrome lip, just silver) BTW the spacers even up the tire with the wheelwell, not sunk in, or sticking out 6 inches like Tru-spokes and Vogues, or "Mexicanized" as you put it. Check out my album.
