MY NEW 85 GT WAS STOLEN TODAY!!!!!

MY CAR WAS STOLEN!!!!!! You guys wont believe this, my new baby I just got a week ago to restore, she was stolen this afternoon while I was at work. So if you pray or whatever you do... please..... as a fellow mustang lover send me some good vibes and prayers to get my car back :0(

the first place i would check would be the people you bought it from , they probley had another set of keys and came back and got it . good luck

I talked to him tonight, he is in cali im in Wa, I know he didnt do it, he's a good guy and is just as sad as I. he was the first owner, I felt bad buying her from him he loved her so much

another thing that helps, and did help in recovering stolen parts from my friends car is if you had any rare/specific parts on it. if they are parting it out you should keep an eye out for parts from the gt. if had an immaculent seats or 140 speedo just keep your eyes peeled for stuff that may have come off the car.

AWESOME its nice to have people on your side lookin out for ya! I didnt really have any rare parts on her yet, the only thing was I had an extra pair of heads in the back that I hadnt taken out yet. So they not only got my baby but a pair of extra heads. I'd be satisfied just to get her back in one piece.

I miss her already :( It took me forever to find that car. My dad had an 81 the same color but it wasnt a GT. He passed away a year ago and my brother reminded me about the car he thought I got the car cause of my dad. I think maybe in the back of my mind I did, but ive loved the 85 for so long cause of the carbeuration and T's. I worked on her all week to get her emission legal and yesterday she failed. I guess now I should be glad cause whoever stole her is driving on california plates with scrathced off tabs!! haha lol :nuts:

The first time the guy totaled it and almost killed a mother and child, both parties pressed charges hes still in jail, its been 6 years now, I hope daddy found him in there. the second time I got my jeep back and they caught him to he was only 14 years old, pressed charges against him too. I really hope and pray you or the police find yours, hopefully you and 2 of your best friends find your car and the sob that took it. Keep the faith, we're sending it to you. Paul86gt

Expired Cali plate number, where exactly it was taken from and when, if there's a certain officer that is the contact point for the case and/or the telephone number of that police station....everything you can think of so that when members post this on various boards there will be as much useful information as possible.

Damn, just one more reason to move down here to emissions-friendly Thurston County, where you can leave your car unlocked, unless it's a Honda! :evil: Jeezum crow, I parked my '89 outside every night for the past six months with no door locks (just fixed) and nobody even touched my stereo, let alone the whole car...

I tried to get this onto Corral just now, but the POS is down again. I'll be keeping my eyes peeled...

Hey man I keep a look out up here in arlington. There is a BIG barn about a mile from me, I think it might be a chop shop. :evil: Enter many friends and binoculars, with and bad atitudes. Also watch ebaymotors, thats were i would put stolen parts.

Obviously, you called the police AND the insurance company. Also assume that you gave the police all the information about the car (paint, primer spots, tags, etc.)

If it does not come back to you, hopefully this turns into a better situation (another car, etc.)

thanks bro I appreciate it, still no word on the car. the guy I bout her from called me today, ive been in contact with him. I showed him the thread and was like right on man youll get her back! And most definitely I will get another 85 with t-tops, I searched for that on forever! so If anyone knows of any keep me in mind.

No she still hasnt been found, pretty sad its been a week and a half and i even called the cop and he said no news. I'm making a website in hopes of getting her back, I'll do anything!!!!!! YOu guys will be the first to know when i get her back, you guys have been great!

well everybody I ran into an 85 gt ttops for sale the other day on the web and decided to go check to see if it was mine. No it wasnt but wow was it clean, she was a virgin, stock!! He wanted too much or i would buy it. he wants 4200 im gonna start lookin now to get my mind off it and if i run into a good deal I'll probably get her. So If anyone knows of any let me know. Get the word out.

Well I got a new 85 GT ttops better than the other and worth all the problems with the other. I'll post pics later.
