rear wheel setup

will 17x9 cobra rims with a 5.95" backspacing on the rear of my 83 capri have problems if i were to mount nitto 555 275/40R/17 tires on the them. i have not done any suspension work to the car.

if not what width tire would fit without any problems.

What if i had 17x8 rims with 4.95" for the rear would that make a differance at all.
