Im trying to find information on the 2.3L Turbo's. Im disapointed in the fact that I cant really find anything about them here. I want to put in a Turbo into my 2.3L 1981 Mustang... anyone got any information on this process or opinions? I've been told a well done 2.3L Turbo can take out a stock 5.0 and thats what I want it too do.

Yes definitley check out turboford.org, some of those guys have more knowledge in their little pinky then most have in their entire brain.

BTW, even a half-assed 2.3T can take out a stock 5.0...

I'll definitely recommend turboford.org as well. Search their archives on 2.3 swaps and you should find a ton of information. Any sites on SVO mustangs,T-bird turbo coupes and Merkur XR4TI's will give you some 2.3t info as well.

Good luck!

Search their archives

That there is the Key to TurboFord :D If you dont search they will attempt to cut off your manhood and eat it for breakfast, well maybe Lunch if they already had breakfast .

If your doing an early swap there are tons of people that can help you (includeing me) Most of the stuff can be found in the Archives. if you search on my member ID 4368 you might find some intresting stuff (only search the arhives, and look for the oldest stuff). There isnt much required to get one of those engines started in EFI form.

Nah, its okay, was just saying...mostly for TurboFord because certain memebers that have been registered for QUITE some time, still don't know how to use the search.

LMAO!!
Turboford kicks ass but you WILL get your head bitten off by a few certain members over there if you don't use the search feature first.

It might be an email addy thing or if you don't get all the info filled out correct it will bump you. Try and contact the admin (Clay) directly if you still can't join.
