i know where this one is, and im going to buy it. did anyone ever figure out anything about produciton numbers, who made it, etc etc. i remember a thread on here a while ago about it. here it is, the VIN reads it as a
1982 Mustang Coupe GLX
5.0/SROD 4 speed
Deluxe black leather
Premium Sound
A/C
it has every option put it that way.
here it is, have fun with this one. its a professipnal job too, the lady's mom is the original owner, bought it when she lived in Dearborn, MI

Yeah we figured it out at one point.

The info has probably fallen off this site or can still be found at yahoo. The guy to ask is Sandy Block at the ascMcLaren news group on Yahoo. He has kept up on those cars and it was indeed a professional job.

There were a handful of builders making convertibles in the early 80's since Ford wasn't offering one. In 1983 when the Ford vert came out they all went out of business.

I think it may be a Bivouac. There were not too many made and the three pics I have seen have all been that color. I often wonder if its just the same car being sold again and again.

sweet just read all those posts, hopefully they found something out. i went ahead and bought that car for an unbelievable price.meaning really low. emailed sandy to find out some info. thanks
