Where does the choke Heat Tube connect on the manifold?

Where does the choke Heat Tube connect on the manifold? Its #2, i cant figure out where the hell its suppose to connect.

When I had that setup on my car, it went down to a grommet on the exhaust manifold.

yes i know that it connects to the exaust manifold but i cant find the place it connects :oops: in other words, I cant find the hole...

hey, neo here...i had the same thing on my 80, on the passenger side on the manifold should be a peice thats bolted on...with a hole that the heat choke tube slides over.....when i tried to figure it out...it wasnt there...the previous owner removed it cause it rattled....lucky for me, it was in the spare wheel well....i reatached it and had to buy a new flex hose to join em up again....maybe yours is missing..????

Neo i seen this same setup your talking about on a 302 at a junkyard. There was a piece with two bolts holding it in and the tube connected to a port on that. It was almost straight down from the choke housing. But i dont even see a place for that on mine. Im sure im just overlooking it but man i must be blind. :roll:

you know....its pretty easy to see...im begiining to think that yours just isnt there...?the pipe or "hole" is quite large, at least 2 inches wide...im confused myself..lol
