Does anyone know much about this intrument cluster

Hello,
I'm looking for a 79-82 dash cluster for a factory turbo 4 car, mustang or capri doesn't matter. Does anyone know much about these. I'm looking to get one for my 83 mustang. I have seen later model clusters, like out of an SVO Mustang, but none with the old colors and a turbo gauge. Does such a cluster exist :? Any help would be much appreciated.

The early (79-81) turbo clusters did not have a boost guage, only an idiot light that read "Turbo" in green. What they did have, and the reason they are sometime sought after, is an 8000 RPM tach, as opposed to the 6 grand tach that came in the rest of the models.

Also the early clusters all have green lettering, rather than the later amber emblems.

This car was up on ebay not too long ago. There a several excellent pictures of the interior and the instrument cluster is clearly visible in several of them (esp in the added link to see more pics of the car).

I have an instrument cover that has that turbo light on it, besides that and the tach, I think those were the only diffs

Hey guys, I really appreciate your help on this one. I'll be looking for an 8K tach if anyone has one for a 79-82 turbo Mustang or Capri with the green numbers. Please email me if you have one for sale
