Guys I have these in my Capri and they are not working. Mainly this is a it's not working and bugs the piss out of me deal more than it is causing a problem. I am getting vacuum to this circuit but I think that the bi-metal switch in the air cleaner has gone bad. Does anyone know if these are still available and what the part number may be?
Thanks

Yeah, I think they are still available...at one time I had the part number and I typed it into partsvoice.com and a bunch of listings came back.
You need to ask your Ford dealer for the part number. If they are now obsolete, ask the Ford Parts Guy for a nationwide search. From the results of the search you can call and see if you can get them shipped to you. Or if you strike out there, go to www.partsvoice.com and put the part number in there and see what comes back.
Maybe even autozone has them...don't know.

Are you talking about the round vacuum actuators on the snorkel? If so you can get them at the auto parts store for about 25 bucks. I had one go bad as well. If you're talking about the temp switch on the rear of the intake, Advance sells them too. If it's related to emissions, you can probably still get it. :)

OK, ok --the green 2-pronger on the back of the air cleaner. I'd swear I saw them in the chain auto parts stores online, but I can't find the darn thing now. They have about everything else imaginable that a vacuum line goes to.... :?

The green thing is a cold weather module and I did find a new one of these for $12 bucks ( motorcraft pn CX-150) and it did not fix the problem. It is either the vacuum motors on the snorkels or the bi-metal switch in bottom of the breather. However since the car runs great I am gonna say screw it and not spend anymore time or money on it.
