The lower hinge on the junkyard vert project had a worn out bushing.
I bought one of the hinge fix kits, cut the old pin to get it out, put the top bushing in and rather than pull the door off to get the lower bushing in from the bottom, I tapped it in from the top.
The problem with this was that after a couple days of opening and closing, the bushing started to work its way up and eventually popped out.
Soooo I went and got a piece of 5/16 (I thinki) ID aluminum tubing, cut a piece the exact length of the distance between the upper part of the hinge and the bushing, pulled up the pin, slid it in, slid the pin back down and presto, easy hinge fix that's not even noticeable.
